Semi has written feature adaptations of The Year of Fog and The Stone Diaries and is currently adapting American Woman. Her script of Who Named the Knife, which she also executive produced, was shot this fall. She was the co-creator, executive producer and head writer of prime-time Canadian network drama The Eleventh Hour, two-time Gemini winner for Best Series. Semi also shared a Gemini for Best Writing in 2005.
