David Weaver graduated from the University of Toronto and Columbia University's renowned Graduate Film Program. He has directed five short films, including the award-winning "Moon Palace," which screened at nearly forty film festivals and won over a dozen international awards. His credits include two-time Genie nominated Century Hotel, critically acclaimed Siblings and segment of the anthology Toronto Stories.
Most recently, Weaver has directed several highly-rated American television movies and including a feature screenplay for Moon Palace a spec feature script, Superhero. Weaver frequently reviews books on cinema for the Globe & Mail, and is an occasional contributor to Toronto Life and other periodicals.
