Among her accomplishments at Rainbow, Dore was responsible for the development, launch and success of the Independent Film Channel and IFC Entertainment, which distributed award-winning independent films such as My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Boys Don’t Cry.
At Bravo, where she served as President from 1996 until 2002, she oversaw the development of the award-winning series Inside the Actors Studio and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. She led Bravo to profitability and built the cable network from a subscriber base of fewer than 500,000 U.S. households to more than 68 million households. During her tenure at Bravo she was instrumental in partnering with Canadian broadcaster CHUM to launch Bravo Canada, and with Alliance Atlantis to launch IFC Canada.
