WORLD WIDE SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
www.worldwideshortfilmfest.com
Thanks to YouTube, iPods and video cellphones, our knowledge of short films now extends further than those two pesky categories in the annual office Oscar pool. In a city overrun with festivals, the WWSFF stands apart as one of the foremost venues for short films in the world. Hundreds of shorts -- award-winners, celebrity shorts, music shorts, sci-fi shorts, short shorts -- are screened along with lectures, seminars and workshops for the neophyte and knowledgeable filmmaker.

WORLD OF SHORTS
Long after Halloween has come and gone, good trick-or-treaters still have mounds of candy left to devour. Such is the case with the short films featured in November’s World of Shorts program entitled “Leftover Candy”. Featuring an array of creepy, freaky and just plain weird shorts, this program just screams to be seen. So come and indulge your sweet tooth, but be prepared when the lights go out.
