WIFT-T Media Leadership Program
(Formerly known as the Senior Level Certificate Program)
To Apply:
Applicants are asked to send in their resumes and a brief description (no longer than a page) of what they hope to get out of the program and to provide a name and contact information for one reference from the industry.
All applications will be reviewed by an industry committee and applicants will be notified of their acceptance to the program within three weeks of receipt.
Once a candidate has been accepted to the program, they will be guided through the registration process. Registration will not be considered to be completed until payment has been received. Payment can be made by credit card or cheque.
Please note that as enrollment for the course is limited to 20 people. Deadline January 9, 2009.

Cancellation Policy:
Accepted applicants who provide notice of cancellation six weeks before the course start date will receive a complete refund, minus a $100 administration fee. Non-attendance will incur full seminar tuition cost. If you are unable to attend the program due to unforeseen circumstances, your company may suggest a suitable replacement.
2008 Bursaries:
RBC Royal Bank Bursary for Independent Producers/Small Production Companies
A senior woman in a small production company (maximum five employees) or an independent producer may apply for this bursary. WIFT-T will cover $3,300 of the cost of the program.
WIFT-T Bursary for Independent Producers/Small Production Companies
A senior woman in a small production company (maximum five employees) or an independent producer may apply for this bursary. WIFT-T will cover $3,300 of the cost of the program.
WIFT-T Career Transition Bursary
This bursary is for a mid to senior woman in the film and television industry who is unemployed. WIFT-T will cover $3,300 of the cost of the program.
WIFT-T Bursary for Underrepresented Groups
This bursary is for a mid to senior level woman of color, Aboriginal woman, or a disabled woman in the film and television industry. WIFT-T will cover $3,300 of the cost of the program.
2009 bursaries to be announced late fall.
NOTE: If you apply for a bursary, you do not need to apply online separately to the program as well.
Location:
The residential weekend will be held at the Park Hyatt hotel (4 Avenue Road, Toronto). Subsequent sessions will be held at downtown locations accessible by public transit.
Fees:
