Tara Parker is a senior associate with the Entertainment Group in the Toronto law firm of Goodmans LLP. She represents major American and Canadian studios, broadcasters, independent producers, literary, artistic and business clients, in the development, production, financing and distribution of film, television, book publishing, theatrical and new media projects. She has been a guest speaker at WIFT-T events and other entertainment-related presentations. Tara has contributed articles to The Lawyers Weekly and WIFT-T’s Canadian Filmmaker website and recently hosted the workshop: "Master of Negotiation" at the KidScreen Summit 2007 in New York. She graduated from the University of Victoria in 1999 and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2001.
