Veteran producer Gabriella is the strategic and creative drive behind Capri Films and Capri Releasing, a Toronto-based production and distribution company with Canadian roots and an international perspective. Gabriella directs the company’s broad range of quality feature and television productions. Her feature credits include Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo & Juliet starring Leonardo DiCaprio; David Cronenberg’s Naked Lunch, M. Butterfly, and Dead Ringers; Clive Barker’s Nightbreed and Terry Gilliam’s Tideland. Her TV credits include the mini-series Lives of the Saints starring Sophia Loren and Karol, the miniseries on the life of Pope John Paul II. She also produced the documentaries Journey to Enlightenment, on the life of Buddhist spiritual leader Dilgo Khyente Rinpoche, and Getting Gilliam, on the work of renowned director Terry Gilliam.
