Gregor Hutchison

Originally from Montreal, Gregor has worked in the Film and Television Industry in Toronto for over 20 years, primarily in Post Production. Starting at Nelvana as a picture assistant, then editor, he began his career supervising Post Production on The Edison Twins and T & T. While still at Nelvana, he managed the Post on various animation series including the Carebears, Eek the Cat and My Pet Monster. Gregor supervised the Post Production on Sullivan Films’ “Road to Avonlea” for the first two seasons, then left to work for Imax in their distribution department overseeing the versioning of their film library for various clients around the world. In 1991, Gregor began working for Alliance Communications and was Vice President of Post Production when they merged with Atlantis. After leaving Alliance Atlantis, Gregor went on to work as a freelance Post Production Supervisor on numerous films. In 2002, Gregor was contracted by Deluxe Toronto to manage the sound department and their transition into digital Post Production. Since then, Gregor has supervised several feature films and mini series, for companies across Canada (GFT, Capri), the United States, and Europe (Focus, Tristar, New Regency, Davis Films, Constantin Film) on films like: Lives of the Saints, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Assault on Precinct 13, Lucky Number Slevin and Silent Hill to name a few.
