As the Vice President, Original Programming, Christine Shipton is responsible for developing and overseeing the production of all original series and documentaries across CanWest MediaWorks’ television networks. She joined CanWest MediaWorks in May 2005 from Blueprint Entertainment, a television company dedicated to producing and financing television productions for the North American and world markets. Prior to this, Christine has held a variety of senior positions in organizations including W Network, Landscape Entertainment Canada, Alliance Atlantis Television and CBC Television. She has been responsible for developing and overseeing great Canadian programming throughout her career, including Due South, North of 60, Cold Squad, the Diana Kilmury Story and Sue Rodriquez.
