Alex Olegnowicz

Born in Mexico City, Alex Olegnowicz moved to Toronto in 1995 searching to expand and utilize his background in graphics and animation and apply it to the Film & Television industry in “Hollywood North.” That same year, with his wife Debbie, they launched Digital Post, which later became “Imarion.” Dedicated to the post production process, Alex has established a renowned boutique, not only assisting producers in the post-production of their projects, but also giving insight to the pre-production and production process, ensuring the successful completion of quality programming. Alex, who has been nominated for an Emmy and the RTS award for producing the visual effects for the Discovery Channel documentary Planet Storm, currently sits at the forefront of Hi-Definition post-production in Toronto. Imarions latest productions include such notable works as; Peter Lynch’s latest documentary feature A Whale of a Tale, Shipbreakers, Masterminds, Rich Bride Poor Bride, Opening Soon, The Exodus Decoded, Final 24, Naked Archeology and numerous other documentary features and television series.

Delegates are driven from the Park Hyatt to Imarion where they are taken on a tour of the facilities. The instructor will focus on the technical requirements for post production as well as workflow, editing, finishing, and managing post production for both feature films and television projects.
