Ron Suter joined MCA as part of the Record Division in 1981. After working in several areas of the music business, Ron moved to the Television Division in 1986, as a Syndicated Sales Executive. He was appointed Sales Manager in 1991, and in 1993 assumed the senior role in the Canadian Television Division becoming Vice President and General Manager for Universal Television Canada.

Ron has been in his current combined role of Sr. Vice President and General Manager, Universal Television Canada and Sr. Vice President, Universal Studios Canada Inc., since November 2002. He is responsible for NBC Universal Television distribution licensing of theatrical and TV product in all media in English and French Canada, as well as for shared services including Human Resources and Real Estate across all NBC Universal divisions in Canada. Ron also manages the NBC Universal Heritage Fund. Ron also is a Director of NSI (National Screen Institute) and Canada’s Walk of Fame.
