Bert Kohen received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Aegean University and completed his Master’s in Engineering at the University of Toronto. He obtained his MBA through York University and the University of Windsor. Bert was with Imperial Oil for 30 years where he served in many departments, including the Treasury where he was a finance executive. He has extensive corporate experience in financial analysis and control, credit risk management, capital budgeting, pricing, operations and facilities planning as well as supply chain management strategy.

Bert is a highly experienced instructor in Schulich’s undergraduate and MBA Finance program where he had been teaching Corporate Finance on a part-time basis since 1999. Bert is the instructor of Schulich Executive Education Centre’s popular Financial Analysis and Control for Managers course. He also develops and delivers customized finance and management accounting courses for private clients as well as doing consulting work in the private sector.
